About
Built by a practitioner — not a technologist guessing at one.
jaloss is built by Juan Lozada, who scaled a solo Austin practice into a multi-state firm before joining Ambar as a platform partner. Every architectural decision in jaloss reflects a practitioner's experience of what breaks in solo legal practice — not a technologist's hypothesis about it.
Why jaloss is built the way it is
Three architectural decisions, three lived reasons.
LLM routing engine
Exists because solo attorneys cannot afford enterprise AI pricing. Every request is routed to the cheapest model that can do the job competently — not the most expensive.
Bilingual architecture
Exists because 50 million Spanish-speaking Americans deserve elite legal services in their language. EN/ES is wired into every label, every agent output, every document template — not bolted on as an afterthought.
Five custom agents
Exist because the specific workflows they automate consumed 15–20 hours of weekly attorney time in the founder's own practice. Each agent replaces a task Juan personally did by hand for years.
